The ensuite was designed as a tranquil parents’ retreat, offering a sense of calm and sophistication. A key change in the layout involved swapping the locations of the shower and toilet, which allowed for a more private toilet area and a spacious, walk-in shower that enhances the overall functionality of the space.
It now takes on a softer, more serene approach, reflecting a retreat-like atmosphere. The reconfigured layout enhances both privacy and usability, while the material and colour selections create a space that feels calm and refined.

Communication with the team was always very easy and every trade who came through the door was incredibly respectful of our home. Our site manager and trades regularly checked in with us on the plans to ensure we understood the implications of our decisions and to make sure we were happy all the way down to the specific placement of robe hooks, down light placement and silicone colour.
The design service that comes as part of the package is great. Even when we had a very clear idea of exactly what we wanted, the design team still helped us to get the most out of our limited space. A dedicated project manager and site manager meant we had zero stress about the process, everyone operates together like a well-oiled machine.
We will absolutely engage NEWR again for future work we need done. As they say, you get what you pay for, and NEWR was worth every cent.”
