Robertson Project

  • Space: Custom Space, Laundry

After completing their main bathroom renovation, our Robertson clients returned with a new goal: transform a dated laundry and pantry into a seamless, functional zone that feels clean, bright and effortlessly beautiful. They wanted to streamline daily routines with spaces that are both practical and calming. To improve flow and maximise the footprint, we removed two dividing walls to form one generous space.

The new layout pairs a highly efficient laundry with a dedicated walk-in pantry, providing superior storage, better light and a more intuitive setup.

The design channels relaxed Scandinavian minimalism.

Chalk White cabinetry in a silk finish bounces light around the room, while the Alpine White quartz benchtop adds a subtle sparkle. Large-format porcelain tiles in soft concrete grey ground the space and hide day-to-day dust. Slim satin-nickel pulls introduce a hint of metallic contrast, echoing the brushed-nickel mixer tap and the appliance trims.

The overall palette is deliberately tonal, allowing the textures to play the starring role. Every element works together to create a cohesive space that feels calm, organised and built to last.

A stacked washer-dryer sits neatly beside tall pantry cabinets, keeping appliances out of the main walkway. Soft-close drawers and adjustable shelving make everyday essentials easy to reach, and the generous benchtop allows laundry sorting, folding or grocery unpacking to happen without fuss.

The new laundry and pantry feel serene, organised and ready for daily routines. By focusing on timeless finishes and clever storage, this renovation will serve the family effortlessly for many years to come—another successful chapter in our ongoing partnership with these valued clients.

“NEWR updated our house in Curtin, they fully renovated the bathroom, main bedroom and ensuite, pantry and laundry and created a mudroom in the entry. We love the new look to our home.

We found all the staff and contractors to be highly professional, friendly and obliging. They were open to make changes to the original plan and had great design suggestions. Any little issues that occurred along the way were dealt with quickly and the work areas were tidied up at the end of each day making it easier for us to stay in the house during the reno.

I am happy to recommend NEWR for any projects you are planning on your home.”
